Shot blasting
Abrasive blasting (popularly shot blasting) allows for cleaning various types of metal details intended for painting or galvanization. The dimensions of our shot blasting chamber in Żory (8.5 m long x 6.5 m wide x 4 m high) allow for shot blasting of all types of sections, sheets and other steel structures.
Shot blasting - degrees of surface cleaning
Depending on the requirements, we can obtain the following classes of surface preparation (according to PN-ISO 8501-1)
- class Sa 1 - coarse blast cleaning - removes greasy stains, rust, paint coating and foreign contamination
- class Sa 2 - thorough blast cleaning - residual contamination adhering to the surface is allowed
- class Sa 2.5 - more thorough blast cleaning, minor traces of contamination, e.g. in the form of dots, are acceptable
- class Sa 3 - gives the effect of a metallic uniform steel, the so-called white metal. In practice, achievable only for new elements
The factors that determine the final result of the blasting process are compressed air pressure, abrasive (i.e. its type, shape and size), spray angle and the distance of the nozzle from the surface. Our shot-blasting plant is one of the most modern plants of this type in the region. We are able to provide the highest anti-corrosion class C5 by combining hot-dip galvanizing with powder coating and specialized matting of the galvanized surface in our shot blasting plant. Range of services
Free consultations on the preparation of details and structures for hot-dip galvanizing in our galvanizing plant. If necessary and for larger orders, it is possible to travel to the customer to see the details for galvanizing and discuss their preparation.
The delivered elements on pallets are unloaded mechanically with the use of modern forklifts
Transport of structural elements after hot-dip galvanizing, its cost is agreed individually with the customer. Transport in covered cars to prevent white corrosion.
Its implementation begins immediately after the price is agreed, based on individual contact with the customer.
In the case of an order that also includes powder coating in our paint shop, galvanized details are subjected to additional mechanical processing, as if "ready". The works are performed in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard
We can disassemble construction elements intended for hot-dip galvanization. After hot-dip galvanizing, the structure is assembled and packed. Shipping to the end customer is also possible

We have hot-dip galvanizing lines of various sizes in our branches. Small elements are hot-dip galvanized on the so-called centrifuge. Large elements and structures are galvanized on a modern production line with dimensions of 7m x 3m x 1.6m.
